Tu & Nick

Tu and Nick grew up in New Zealand making VHS movies at high school and hosting the breakfast show on George FM which was pretty famous if you were 14 and living in Auckland and it was all going fine until Nick discovered Jungle and became obsessed with finding rare 12” singles which gets you quite a long way in life as a DJ but not as far as making amazing popular-culture documentaries like 'Diggin' in the Carts' which they made for Red Bull and has only been seen a trillion times around the world and they’ve shot in over 50 countries and presented Music TV shows for everyone who’s anyone and they shot that amazing Vice series about football creating social change around the world and helpfully they live in London and Tokyo and speak fluent Japanese which means Nick can usually tell someone his story about the Ukrainian Minister of Defence and using Anchor butter to stop a robbery in Jamaica and now they’re developing their feature doc Ghost Selectors about the history of post-war Tokyo we love them and get to geek out on Japanese video game music history and for that reason they absolutely definitely have to be Knuckleheads.
