Johnny grew up in Manchester wanting to be a speedway racer but life isn't like that and so he went to college to study theatre design which is a proper subject actually so he became London's favourite production designer and built sets for pretty much everyone who's anyone despite spending most of his waking hours in the boxing gym or drinking coffee in primrose hill and then he made that insanely amazing film and book about the Mongolian wolf hunter who does ice-speedway and people sent him loads of scripts to direct and he did the one with the car in space for Audi which won lots of arrows and the films for Discovery that everybody loves and now he's shooting for Adidas and Sony so it's all kind of going rather well for a bloke who really is a knucklehead.
