Fanny Hoetzeneder

Fanny grew up in Belleville watching David Lynch VHS bootlegs and moved to London aged 18 so she could learn how to microwave scotch eggs and drink cider & black like all existentialist french film students and when she wasn’t bowling in the elephant & castle shopping centre she was making amazing auto-biographical short films imaginatively called Belleville which of course Nowness fell in love with and because of that she shot her first commercial for paint and then shot that great promo with the car drifters in the B&Q car park which is convenient because she’s weirdly good at demolition and tiling and karaoke and origami which is an unusual but very practical skill set for a super talented director who hates small talk and camping but would love to own a bar where no-one talks and for that very reason she is and always will be a knucklehead.
