Knucklehead traveled to Singapore recently for the Spikes Asia 2013 Festival of Creativity. Now in its fifth year, Spikes Asia is is a collaboration between Cannes Lions and Haymarket, and a great place to see the best creative work in the Asia Pacific region, meet agency and production folk from all around the world and catch fascinating talks and workshops. This year, our favourite seminars were delivered by McCann's John Mescall, Microsoft, JWT and Hakuhodo Inc, whose discussion of Advertising Agencies' New Potential kept us amused and inspired in equal measure. Spikes also lays on fantastic networking events every evening, and on the second night we enjoyed spectacular views of Singapore from the rooftop parties of advertising agencies dotted around the city.
